Bank of China, Stockholm Branch
Bank of China (Luxembourg) S.A. Stockholm Branch (BOC Stockholm) was officially opened in August 2012, approved by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Swe: Finansinspektionen). BOC Stockholm is the first branch of Bank of China in the Nordic countries and it is also the first Chinese financial institution operating in the Nordic countries.
Bank of China was established in 1912. It is now a financial group listed on both Hongkong and Shanghai Stock Market. It is also the most internalized bank with longest history in China. Bank of China has a global network with 11, 000 offices in mainland China and more than 640 branches in 51 countries and regions. Bank of China's core financial services include commercial banking, investment banking, insurance, direct investment and aircraft leasing etc.
BOC Stockholm provides comprehensive financial services to customers including large Nordic international companies in the Fortune Global 500 and Forbes 2000 lists, Chinese companies with investment in the Nordic countries and local Nordic companies having investment and trade with China. BOC Stockholm has about 30 staff.
