The Danish Association of Cosmetics and Detergents is the Denmark's largest trade association for Danish and international companies that manufacture og distribute cosmetics and personal care products as well as detergents to the Danish market. The industry fulfill societal and specific needs of the Danes every day. Toothpaste prevents caries, hand soaps and cleansers to remove dangerous bacteria in the home and in public institutions and sunscreens prevent skin cancer. In addition, the industry contributes significantly to the Danish economy and prosperity. In 2018, the industry generated sales of 46 billion kroner, exported a total of 18 billion kroner and contributed 9,158 jobs. And the industry is growing. The cooperation with DCBF will help the Danish cosmetics and detergent industry explore the opportunities for growth on the Chinse market.
