The Flanders-China Chamber of Commerce (FCCC) and the EU–China Business Association (EUCBA) have the pleasure of inviting to the webinar "European Business in China: Position Paper 2026/2027".

The European Business in China Position Paper 2026/2027, published by the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, highlights the main challenges facing European companies operating in China and presents recommendations to the Chinese Government aimed at improving the country's business environment.

As China enters its 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026–2030), the country is focusing on achieving sustainable, high-quality economic growth and strengthening its position in the global economy.

At the same time, China's role is evolving for many multinational companies. As Chinese operations become more integrated into global production, companies are shifting from ‘in China for China’ to ‘in China for the world’.

Time: (9:00-10:00 a.m. DK/3:00-4:00 p.m. CN)

Event: Webinar

Saxo's Q2 2023 Quarterly Outlook is out now. This quarter's theme is "The Fragmentation Game", which is our term for how the world's economic blocs have lurched into realignment to secure access to energy, other vital resources, supply chains and computing power (mostly semiconductors). Meanwhile, the banking sector turmoil at the end of Q2 has brought risks of a credit crunch and a sharp increase in the probability of a recession in the developed economies this year.

Join our Q2 2023 quarterly outlook webinar, hosted by Redmond Wong, Market Strategist at Saxo Markets Hong Kong, to explore the investment implications of the secular trend of fragmentation and the latest development in the market. Highlights of the discussion will include:

  • Bonds & FX: What happens when a tightening cycle ends before inflation is defeated?
  • Equities. Fragmentation and banking crisis mean pain, but also opportunities
  • Commodities: Caught between a slowdown in US and Europe and recovery in China demand

After the presentation, please stay for a live Q&A session!

Please contact info@dcbf.dk if you have any questions.

If you want to avoid ending up in these kinds of situations in the future, the first step is to become aware of how you and your global colleagues typically prefer to communicate.
