“Expansion as a venture” means that multinationals should see themselves as a venture again when entering China. This means starting small, looking closely at the market, being entrepreneurial, adapting constantly, hedging bets, keeping the burn-rate low, moving fast etc. Basically, it means to be a young company again and to grow up in a challenging but rewarding environment. Seeing “Expansion as a venture” is simple in theory, but hard in practice. At LvS Partners, they apply this approach in the pre- and post-investment expansion of their portfolio companies (their value-added strategy). In this webinar they will share some of their experiences and are open to discuss expansion strategies contemplated by the participants.
The webinar is held by:
Nick H. Laursen and Gerard van Swieten, Managing Partners at Laursen van Swieten

Time: 10.00 am - 11.00 am

In March 2021, the China-Europe Express Chang’an (Xi’an-Denmark) route was launched. The route implements a rail-sea combination (from Kaliningrad, Russia to Fredericia, Denmark by sea) and is a cost-effective and fast alternative to air freight and sea freight. Compared to air freight, rail freight is less costly and more sustainable, and compared to sea freight, it is much faster.
If you would like to know more then sign up to the event to hear from the following speakers: Mr. Gao Xingle from The Embassy of China in Denmark, Hans Henrik Pontoppidan from Danish-Chinese Business Forum, Zhao Wenwei from the Xi’an ITL Group and Tine Jørgensen from DSV.
