The speaker of the event will be Dr. Karel Eloot, Senior Partner at McKinsey Greater China where he leads the McKinsey IoT Hub. He is also co-founder of Tsinghua University's Digital Capability Center and Chairman of the Benelux Chamber of Commerce East China - Shanghai. Karel will talk about global trends and recent developments in IoT, after which he will focus on the Chinese context. Topics include: whether or not China will create a separate IoT world; IoT adoption and use cases in China compared to the rest of the world; competition between MNCs and domestic companies in China; and the implications for all stakeholders involved.
