Danish Business Outlook on China – New index on China

The Danish Business Outlook on China (DBOC), a new quarterly index on China, was launched on the 24th of February 2021. The DBOC is a quarterly index tracking changes in short-term outlook of the Danish business community regarding China. More than 70 Danish companies provided data to the DBOC index - all of them either members of Danish-Chinese Business Forum or Danish Chamber of Commerce in China .

 Overall, the index found that the short-term outlook for activities in China had improved compared to three months prior.

Amongst others, the DBOC found that company size and geography had influence on outlook:

* <50 = tendency towards deterioration in outlook. >50 = tendency towards improvement in outlook.

Furthermore, the DBOC showed considerable sectoral differences in outlook:
