Compared to Q1, the survey recorded very little change in the overall short-term outlook of Danish companies in China while the outlook of consumer-oriented sectors shows some improvement. The logistics / maritime sector, however, has reported significant deterioration.
The Danish Business Outlook on China (DBOC), a new quarterly index on China, was launched on the 24th of February 2021. The DBOC is a quarterly index tracking changes in short-term outlook of the Danish business community regarding China.
On Thursday the 28th of January, we held our annual Signature Event, Political & Economic Update, together with Danske Bank. The event was held online this year, and more than 400 signed up to participate.
August 10-13 2020, DCBF was co-organizer of the first Blockchain Business Bridge Bootcamp, taking place at The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. Six Danish startups participated at the Bootcamp, and Secretary General of DCBF, Hans Henrik Pontoppidan, participated on behalf of DCBF.
The most comprehensive survey of Danish Companies in China ever conducted was published by The Royal Danish Embassy in Beijing, Danish Chamber of Commerce in China and Sino Danish Center for Education and Research.
